Release 4.0
Feature Bug FixThis is a major release with several architectural improvements to the forecasting algorithm to enable upcoming features.
Features / Fixes
- Depot Buffer Recommendations will be displayed if current depot buffer settings are insufficient to complete the study.
- First Participant Screened can be used as a seeding shipment trigger. You can specify a screening period (defaults to 14 days), where the seeding shipment will be triggered 14 days prior to the first participant’s enrollment. For this type of site seed to arrive in time, the screening period should be greater than the lead time from depot to site.
- Do Not Count support was added in lot recommendations.
- DNX parameters and lot expiry are incorporated deeply into the simulation. For example, depot demand will increase close to lot expiration.
- Lot recommendation accuracy and stability has been incorporated into the algorithm, instead of predicting needed lots after completion.
- Lot recommendations will no longer fail due to a missing SKU inside of the Supply tab. If a SKU does not exist, the recommendation will automatically include a new global SKU.
- Lot recommendation constraints are now scenario-specific.
- The forecasting algorithm now follows time order instead of breaking into multiple stages. This results in a forecast that more naturally reflects real-world clinical supply constraints, and improves recommendations reliability.
