Release 4.2

Version 4.2 adds some major improvements to depot origination.

Originating Depot

Lots now originate at user-specified depots. If not specified, they default to originating at the scenario’s central depot. It can be specified on the lot detail page:

This change propagates through the simulation and prevents lots from supplying regions that should use differently-recommended lots.

Preview Improvements

The “Participant Demand”, “Site Demand”, and “Depot Demand” previews will now show a combined plot of demand vs. supply, with error bars indicating where you may have a supply shortage. Additionally, Bluefin improves display of lot and depot buffer recommendations in the preview, giving users fine-grained control over the simulation.

Notices on Tabs

Bluefin now displays notices underneath the appropriate tab, guiding users to the exception point in their study. For power users, this can be helpful to zoning in on the particular places where a study model could be improved. We’re looking forward to incorporating more powerful recommendations to fine-tune studies.
