Release 4.5

Feature Bug Fix

Version 4.5 introduces weight distributions, user-created depot-to-depot shipments, adds recommendations to reporting, and adds some further improvements to notices.

Depot-to-Depot Shipments

Editing a depot-to-depot transfer

With 4.5, we’re introducing user-created depot-to-depot shipments. This allows you to view recommended transfers based on depot buffers parameters, promote those transfers, and edit the quantity and timing of the transfer. This allows for more fine-grained control over how inventory moves between your depots.

Weight Distributions

Specifying a weight distribution for a cohort

With Bluefin 4.5, you can also specify weight distributions. In conjunction with weight-based dosing, this allows for more precise control of the weights of generated participants.

Recommendations Improvements

On the reporting tab, you can now enable Bluefin recommendations. This will display recommended lots and depot-to-depot shipments using recommended buffer parameters, making it easier to understand what demand and supply would look like with optimal manufacturing.

Recommendations can be enabled on reporting to view the lots that Bluefin recommends.

Notice Improvements

We’ve added more improvements to notices throughout the UI, with the goal of helping guide you towards problems with your forecast. You’ll see these notices in the enrollment grid, for adjusting screening periods, and for insufficient inventory at a variety of locations.

A short screening period, less than the lead time from site to depot, could cause a seeding shipment to miss first doses.
